Our Commitment to Veterans:

Wilson Security’s commitment to veterans runs deep. We value the sacrifice our veterans have made and recognise the unique skills and values they bring to our workforce. Embracing this community isn’t just the right thing to do; it also strengthens our capabilities and culture as a business.

  • Our company has long been a leading employer of ex-ADF personnel
  • We’re determined to grow this number even further, with a goal of veterans and ADF family members making up 20% of our Defence workforce
  • In 2022, we launched the Wilson Security Veteran Employment Program (currently we employ 115 veterans) offering dedicated career pathways through scholarships, veteran-to-veteran mentorship, and employment practices
  • Our approach is tailored to the unique strengths of those who’ve served. Since its launch, many veterans have embarked on new careers at Wilson Security
  • Our customers place high value on our support of the veteran community

Our Partnership with Bravery Trust:

Supporting the veteran community extends beyond direct employment. Wilson Security has had a decade-long partnership with Bravery Trust to assist former servicemen and women in need. The programme provides financial counselling and support to veterans facing hardship, proactively investing in initiatives to honour and empower those who served.

Led by Grant Moffitt, himself an ex-veteran, the program comes from a position of deep understanding of how best to make a difference to veterans and their communities.

“Supporting veterans isn’t just a program for us; it’s part of who we are at Wilson. We’re honoured to represent the veteran community in our industry, and we’re proud of the opportunities we’ve created for those who have served.

This award belongs to our veterans, their families, and everyone in our business who has worked tirelessly to make our Veteran Employment Program a success. It’s a monumental milestone for us, but also motivation to continue growing our veteran community within Wilson Security.
