Wilson Security commenced providing security services at the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) Victoria in June 2008, with initial responsibilities being for tenanted Levels at 120 Collins Street, Melbourne, Treasury Reserve, 157 Spring Street, Melbourne, VCAA Coburg and State Government Offices Geelong.
Although uniquely different, Treasury Reserve and external locations at 120 Collins Street, and 157 Spring Street are monitored 24/7, and are controlled by the security management structure at Treasury Reserve reporting to an overall Security Manager. In addition, a number of security services are available to all sites including Customer Service Coordinators who are responsible for liaising with various Government Agencies, VIP guests, function coordination and training of security personnel.
Wilson Security’s personnel are responsible for the security of all buildings, and provide customer service, reception duties and foot patrols to all DTF locations. Presentation by all Officers at DTF is imperative when working closely with Ministers and visitors to the various State Government locations. Other key responsibilities include the safety and welfare of all persons visiting or working at DTF locations, and to provide a coordinated response to emergency situations.
DTF security operations provide a coordinated response to dramatic increases in demand for security services during State Government initiatives such as the foreign delegation visit.
